A pedaling for people
The Ecological Ride is a bike ride, or by any other means not pollutant, on the natural cycle path situated along the banks of the river Vomano, followed by a festive banquet in Piazza Antonio Santarelli ( Ex Piazza Torrio), Pianura di Guardia Vomano.
The first edition of "The Ecological Ride" was organized, since the early 90s, Association Rainbow Club. For a decade it has been a fixture of the summers of our territory and,after some years of stop, in 2004 organizational torch was passed to the Association Space in Motion. Many times, within the various edition of the event, They were held the contest in which boys were rewarded for composing stories and / or poems that had as its theme the territory, our traditions and our dialect, with all its facets. The whole was then collected and published.
highlight is "The River Cleaning", a thematic day that takes place with the boys of the school Notaresco, Morro D'Oro and Castellalto, in collaboration with all citizens who want to return to the natural splendor of the riverside become known sites open dumps.
