Will be four intense days, rich in art, nature, culture and sacredness those scheduled 5 8th December 2015 as part of "The Way of the Immaculate in the Valley of the Abbeys”. It is a long “walk” - That crosses 10 common touch 5 abbeys – which kicks off Saturday 5 December from the Abbey of Santa Maria di Propezzano, in the town of Morro d'Oro, and ends Tuesday 8 December with the arrival at the Shrine of St. Gabriel in Isola del Gran Sasso.

The purpose of the event is to promote awareness of the Valley of the Abbeys, a tourist itinerary that from the Adriatic Sea reaches the majesty of Gran Sasso. A proposal for tourism “slow”, the discovery of the monuments, nature, spirituality, the welcome and the events organized in the historic towns that mark the route.

Since one of the objectives of the project is to the Valley of the Abbeys of seasonal adjustment of tourism, it will demonstrate that it is possible to sustainable tourism, pleasant and experiential even in the low season. The registration fee for the walk is 98 euro; It includes insurance coverage, luggage, accommodation and meals for the four days. You can also participate in individual sections of the route with a daily fee of 19 euro include insurance, transportation and lunch.
