The 6 novembre 2021, at the Sanctuary of San Gabriele dell’Addolorata in Isola del Gran Sasso (TO), the Jubilee of Religious Tourism and Sanctuaries will take place.
The program is centered on the conference “Tourism for inclusive growth and enhancement of the person”, promoted by the Diocese of Teramo-Atri. The meeting is moderated by Prof. Bernard Cardinal, Full Professor of Political and Economic Geography – President of the Degree Course in Economics at the University of Teramo. Authority, experts and associations will discuss new tourism models, inclusive and sustainable for the development of inland areas, with particular reference to the potential of religious paths and itineraries.
An intervention by ITACA – Associazione per lo Sviluppo Locale is programmed to present the state of the art and the perspectives regarding the itinerary of the Valley of the Abbeys.
