Brasile), con la direzione artistica di Lina Della Rocca, avranno l’occasione di scambiarsi e confrontarsi sul lavoro dell’attore.
Gli incontri sono aperti a 10 uditori e si concluderanno il 15 October (hours 21) con un evento finale aperto a tutti dove ci saranno le dimostrazioni di lavoro dei gruppi partecipanti.

The Teatro Ridotto si costituisce nel 1983 come laboratorio permanente di ricerca sull’arte dell’attore. Le persone che ne fanno parte sono autodidatti: nessuno di loro ha frequentato prima accademie, scuole teatrali, teatri. Non avendo nessuna tradizione scenica alle spalle, il gruppo ha creato una propria identità artistica e culturale attraverso lo scambio con altre culture: ha iniziato così un lavoro di ricerca sull’oriente del teatro. Decisivo è stato l’incontro con Eugenio Barba e Iben Nagel Rasmussen dell’Odin Teatret: in diversi modi e in diversi periodi i componenti del gruppo hanno lavorato con loro. L’associazione culturale Rogo Teatro nasce ufficialmente nel 2000. La formazione artistica dei componenti del Rogo Teatro si è arricchita e consolidata grazie all’incontro con l’Università di Teatro di L’Aquila, l’Odin Teatret (DK) e Linea trasversale/Teatro Proskenion, il Teatro Om (DK), La Fabbrica del teatro (Argentina), il Teatro dell’Albero e Marcello Gallucci. Il Rogoteatro ha scelto di avere la propria sede nei piccoli centri abitati. Una scelta da molti considerata atipica, ma fondamentale per il lavoro.
