I Concerti delle Abbazie 2018: for the fourth year running back appointments di musica classica religious buildings in the Valley of the Abbeys, in Abruzzo. Nel nostro caso attraverso la musica e i luoghi si racconta ed evidenzia una storia comune e connessa.

“Il nostro Patrimonio: dove il passato incontra il futuro”

Truly past, present and future meet in the Abbey Concerts 2018, organized by Luzmèk under the artistic direction of Maestro Carlo Michini. Il primo dei 10 concerti si terrà il 24 June, quando sarà riaperta alle visite l’Abbazia di San Giovanni ad Insulam (Isola del Gran Sasso) , the fifth abbey of Valle, chiusa dal terremoto che colpì L’Aquila nel 2009. The religious building, already existed in the twelfth century, Abbey belonged to the connected structure of which remain in traces suggestive traits ruins. It is counted in the list of monumental buildings in the province of Teramo. Nella medesima Abbazia ci sarà un altro concerto il 28 July.

The other events are taking place throughout the summer in Abbeys Santa Maria di Propezzano (Morro d’Oro) 30 agosto e 7 settembre, San Clemente al Vomano ( Guardia Vomano Notaresco) 13 luglio e 21 settembre , Santa Maria di Hum (Castel Castagna) 27 agosto e 2 settembre e all’esterno di San Salvatore, chiusa dopo il terremoto del 24 agosto 2017, (Canzano) 7 luglio e 1 agosto.

For each concert there will be the possibility to use guide who will introduce the historical and artistic peculiarities of the abbeys telling a story about our Italian and European roots. Finally in goodness, in every place you can taste tasty local products, different at each event, that will delight the palate. The concerts of the Abbeys involve all the senses!
